The 2nd round of the NBA playoffs are well on their way with the LA Lakers doing extremely well in the Western Conference. Kobe Bryant has been hearing the "MVP" chant for a while now, but it was just on May 6th that it was officially announced that Kobe had finally won the League's Most Valuable Player award after 12 years. For this occasion, Nike has released a special "MVP" Player Edition of the Zoom Kobe III's. Kobe has been seen wearing these kicks for the first 2 games of the Lakers vs. Jazz series. These sneakers sport the Lakers' signature colors of yellow and purple on a white base, and were made with a translucent shoe box. These PEs are not scheduled for any release.
